Dr. Paula Russell, Ph.D, CEO, SHRM-CP, HR & Industrial and Organizational Psychology Consultant
Dr. Paula Russell is a New York native and a graduate of Manhattanville College where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management (Human Resources Management concentration) and a Master of Science degree in Organizational Management and Human Resources Development. In 2021. she received a Doctorate degree in General Psychology with an emphasis in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Grand Canyon University. Paula is passionate about learning and acquiring the necessary skills and tools to provide exceptional and effective service to various communities in New York. Her 19-year career in human resources has allowed her to establish relationships with local and national County governments, municipalities, and organizations. Throughout her career, she has managed a full spectrum of human resources programs, services, administrative duties, benefits, and functions. She is known for developing programs, processes, and projects to enhance productivity and performance.
Described by friends and colleagues as someone who is patient, understanding, dedicated, and hardworking, for 19 years, Dr. Russell has developed her talents in serving the public. Her career in human resources has blossomed into consulting, training, and developing clients, organizations, and individuals in need of assistance as employers, employees, or organizational leaders and members. Her recent doctoral degree in industrial and organizational psychology has allowed Dr. Russell to serve as a human resources and industrial and organizational psychology consultant.
Dr. Russell volunteers and presents at various networks and associations and is currently associated with the following: Society of Human Resources Management Association (SHRM), Westchester Human Resource Management Association (WHRMA), Southern Connecticut Chapter of SHRM (SOCT-SHRM), the Black Doctoral Network (BDN), Public Sector HR Association (PSHRA), and the Society of Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP).
